Cimaron is a wild born cougar who was found in a field near Dayton, Washington. He had an encounter with a porcupine, had obviously not eaten for many days and was infested with ticks. The Zoo's Curator and a former Board Member personally drove the four hours to remove his from the manure covered horse trailer that had become his home pending an "official rescue".  He was brought to Cat Tales after a thorough veterinary check, a bath, tick and porcupine quill removal, and having been administered additional fluids and antibiotics. He was approximately 4 months old and weighed 14 pounds. He is lucky to be alive and shows his appreciation by reminding us that he is still a "wild child" by exchanging this common show of teeth with the accompanying hiss.
