HOW TO GET TO THE ZOO
Both the Zoo and School are located on the same site
just north of Spokane, Washington, USA.
Exit of Interstate 90 on Division Street (Hwy 395 and Hwy 2);
travel north (approximately 12 miles) at which time Hwy 2 (Newport Hwy)
separates and requires you to turn off to the right.
Follow Hwy 2 for 6 miles and the Zoo will be on your right.
The exit is Carney Road.
SPECIAL EVENTS
Guest walk within 8 feet of the animals. You may tour the Zoo on your own
and learn about the animals from informative signs located throughout the
facility
or you may take a guided tour (the best way to see the animals in action) given by our staff.
You may purchase a "Treat Bag" and go on your own "Big Cat Adventure"
behind the public barrier fence to hand feed a Lion or Tiger with one of
the Zookeepers.
