Lisa is an accomplished Executive Director with extensive experience in wildlife care, staff management, property management, and community program development. Since December 2018, Lisa has led Cat Tales Wildlife Center, overseeing daily operations, ensuring top-tier animal care, and driving initiatives that enhance the center’s visibility and financial health. Her leadership in social media strategy, public relations, and fundraising has significantly boosted the center’s outreach and resources.
With a background in property management, Lisa managed large-scale housing complexes in Maui and Oregon, ensuring compliance with ADA, fair housing, and civil rights standards while fostering strong community engagement. Her skills in HR management, regulatory compliance, and disaster preparedness have been instrumental in her successful career.
Lisa’s dedication to animal welfare is complemented by her ongoing education in zoological fields, including animal behavior, safe capture, and exhibit design. She is deeply committed to using her expertise to continue making significant contributions to both wildlife conservation and community support through her leadership role at Cat Tales Wildlife Center.
