Longer days, warmer weather, and plenty of wild moments — summer is one of the most exciting times to visit Cat Tales!
Mornings are your best chance to catch the animals on the move. Big cats like tigers and pumas are often active in the cooler hours — prowling, stretching, and showing off those effortless “king of the jungle” poses. You might spot bobcats perched up high, quietly observing everything, or foxes darting, digging, and investigating every new scent.
As the day warms up, things slow down a bit — and that’s okay. Midday is perfect for catching relaxed behaviors: lounging lions (well… tigers in our case 😉), shady naps, and the occasional splash or enrichment moment.
🔥 Hot Weather Tip:
On warmer days, animals conserve energy just like we do. Plan for a morning visit or later afternoon when temperatures begin to cool and activity picks back up.
Summer also brings a different rhythm to the sanctuary:
