Educator Day

Animals teach us something every day. They teach us patience, encourage us to slow down and notice the little things, and help us appreciate the natural world around us.

At Cat Tales Wildlife Center, our mission goes beyond words—it is a commitment to compassion, education, and action. We rescue wildlife, provide expert lifelong care, and help the animals serve as ambassadors for conservation. Creating educational opportunities within our community is an important part of inspiring wildlife conservation and expanding learning beyond the classroom.

We have been working hard to broaden our educational reach through the Cat Tales Zookeeping Academy, educational visits and tours, and family camps returning next summer.

On Sunday, September 27, we invite teachers and educators to join us for Education Day—a day dedicated to you!

Educators will receive early access to our Next Generation Science Standards–aligned curriculum, enjoy special animal enrichment activities, and have opportunities to meet members of our Education Team throughout the day.
